This will be the opportunity to discuss SATs, the ways in which we are helping your children in school and how you can support your children at home. There will also be an opportunity for questions after the meeting.
We will also provide information on our upcoming PGL trip.
The meeting will take place in your child’s Year 6 classroom, which you can access via the bottom of the car park and should finish by 4pm.

2026 is the National Year of Reading which has the theme of ‘Go all in’. So, in line with that, our theme will be ‘Go all in… to a book!’
Rather than dressing as a specific character, children are encouraged to “go all in” to a book genre. For example, fantasy, adventure, mystery, animals, history, or real-life stories. This helps children explore different types of books, discover new interests, and develop their own reading preferences in a fun and creative way.
Children can wear simple outfits that represent a genre, such as:
• A wizard, knight or fairy for Fantasy
• A detective or explorer for Adventure & Mystery
• An astronaut or inventor for Science Fiction
• Animal colours or ears for Animal Stories
• Sports kit or career uniforms for Real-Life Stories
• Ancient-style clothing for History & Myths
There is no need to buy anything new. Homemade accessories and everyday clothes can work perfectly for most genres!
