Trips

Our pupils expand their horizons with a rich programme of trips and excursions outside school.

We place great emphasis on visiting places of interest and having representatives from various companies and other specialists visit the Academy. Following these experiences we help children link what they've learned back to the subjects/themes in the classroom.

In the summer term, Year 6 go on an annual residential trip in which they undertake a series of physical activities and challenges including assault courses, mid-ropes to high wires, climbing walls and tree climbs.
